James J. Raggio, M.H.A.

| Mr. Raggio is the Chief Executive Officer of the
Lompoc Healthcare District (LHD) located in Lompoc,
California. LHD is comprised of a 60-bed acute care
facility and a 110 bed skilled nursing facility in
Lompoc, a one-hour drive north of Santa Barbara. Mr.
Raggio managed the clinical laboratory at LHD from 1980
to 1987. In 1987 his duties were expanded to include
administrative responsibility for six clinical
departments in his role as Director of Clinical
Services. In 1995, Mr. Raggio joined Valley Medical
Group of Lompoc (VMG) as the administrator of this
multi-specialty medical group. During his three years at
VMG, Mr. Raggio was instrumental in the formation of the
Mission Valley IPA and functioned as the administrative
director, along with assisting local physicians as a
practice consultant. Mr. Raggio returned to the District
in 1998 in his current capacity as CEO. He is also a
Board Member of the Lompoc Valley Community Health
Organization, and the Beta Healthcare Group. |
