Betsy Redfield has worked at the Santa Barbara Regional Health Authoritysince 1991 and oversees all personnel and administrative services. Her goal is to ensure the Health Authority is a "destination employer" that attracts outstanding staff because of its positive work environment and the opportunity to partner with other top people in creating cutting edge health care solutions. Before coming to the Health Authority she spent many years in operations management with a Fortune 500 company. She graduated from the University of Kansas and did post-graduate work at the University of Washington. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and belongs to the Society for Human Resources Management.
