Mr. Luman holds an MBA from the University of
Nevada, Las Vegas, is Board Certified in Healthcare
Management and is a Fellow of the American College of
Healthcare Executives (FACHE). He was appointed by
the Authority's Board of Directors in February 2006.
Mr. Luman's progressive experience in executive
management at hospitals, health plans and integrated
delivery systems and his natural talents as a "change
agent" have resulted in significant accomplishments at
each organization under his leadership, which include
Washoe Health System, Ochsner Health Plan, FHP, Inc (now
Pacificare), and Humana. With Mr. Luman's proven
dedication to continuous quality improvement, combined
with his background in commercial healthcare practices
and Medicare, he looks forward to the successful
evolution of this agency in Santa Barbara and San Luis
Obispo counties. Above all, he holds a commitment
to demonstrate sound leadership and balance in business
decisions affecting providers, members and Authority
staff.
Lyle enjoys playing tennis, baking homemade dog biscuits
for his two Labradors, and the simple pleasures of life
with his wife, Shara. |
