The California Public Records Act requires agencies to display on their website those “enterprise systems” that the agency uses to collect, store, exchange and analyze information for their core business functions.  An “enterprise system” is further defined as a multi-departmental system or software application that collects information about the public, and is considered a “system of record” that serves as an original source of data for the agency.
