The Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS®) is a tool used to measure health plan performance on 81 important aspects of care and service. These measures allow health plans to not only assess plan effectiveness internally, but to compare performance against other health plans nationally.
Below is a link to our most current HEDIS report. This document shows where CenCal Health scored against the national high performance level benchmarks on key measures. For additional information regarding CenCal Health's HEDIS program, please contact: (800) 421-2560 ext. 1609.
New for HEDIS 2018:
As part of ongoing improvements in quality measurement, the Quality Measurement Team is beginning to work toward collecting data through Electronic Clinical Data System (ECDS) measures. These measures allow for data sharing from Provider Electronic Medical Records to CenCal Health without the need for medical record review. If you would like to participate in the program please contact the Quality Measurement Team.
For the most recent quality assessment, CenCal Health surpassed 14 of the Department of Health Care Services highest benchmarks, indicating exemplary performance.
