What pharmacy benefits do I get with CenCal CareConnect?

As a CenCal CareConnect (HMO D-SNP) member, you receive comprehensive Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage. You have $0 copays for most medications. Your Medi-Cal (Medicaid) coverage may also help cover additional services not included in Medicare.

How do I fill a prescription?

You can fill prescriptions at any pharmacy in the CenCal CareConnect network. To find one near you, visit our Pharmacy Directory or call Member Services at 1-877-814-1861 (TTY: CA Relay at 711).

Are my medications covered?

We cover a wide range of drugs listed in our Formulary (Drug List). To view the covered list of drugs, visit the online formulary. If your drug is not listed, your doctor may request a formulary exception.

Do I need prior authorization for certain drugs?

Yes, some medications may require prior authorization. Your doctor will work with CenCal CareConnect to submit the request. You will be notified of the decision.
