Checking Claim Status

We offer four ways to check the status of a claim:

  1. The most recommended is through our website. If you have not yet established a User Name and Password to access this and other features, please click here (For Provider Portal).
  2. Emails are accepted. Download Claims Status form and then e-mail to the address indicated on the form, (Please note: e-mail correspondence must be sent using secure, password-protected e-mail).
  3. You may also call your Claims Service Representative at (805) 562-1083 or toll-free at (800) 421-2560 ext. 1083 if you need to check status on one or two claims. Please be sure to have the member’s I.D. number and the date of service, or the Claim Control Number (CCN) from the EOP available before you call.
  4. You may fax your inquiry directly to the CenCal Health Claims Department: (805) 681-8261.
