Community Supports

Community Supports are optional services for Medi-Cal members that may not include direct medical care. CenCal Health offers Community Supports at no cost to help members with complex health issues. Community Supports can include services like housing support, personal care, access to food, and more. They are designed to help members stay healthy and support health issues often caused or made worse by a lack of food, housing, or transportation.

If you need help or want to learn more about what Community Supports may be available for you, call Member Services at 1-877-814-1861 (TTY: CA Relay at 711). You can also call your health care provider. 

Am I eligible for Community Supports?

You may qualify for certain Community Supports services. Community Supports are medically appropriate, cost-effective alternative services or settings to those covered under the Medi-Cal State Plan. These services are optional for members. If you qualify for and agree to receive these services, Community Supports may help you live more independently. They do not replace your Medi-Cal benefits.
