Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) Health Plan Survey
The Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) Health Plan Survey is a survey sent to members once a year. It asks members about their experiences with their doctors and their health plan.
The survey asks questions about various aspects of care, including:
• How easy it is to get a doctor’s appointment when needed
• How well doctors listen and explain things
• How helpful the health plan’s customer service is
CenCal Health reviews the survey results to learn what is working well and what needs to be improved. We use what members share to make our services and programs better. Our goal is to make sure all members get care when they need it, receive good care, and are treated with respect by their doctors and CenCal Health staff.
