Make a Health Decision

What is shared decision making?

Shared decision making allows patients and providers to make health care decisions together. It considers what is important to the patient and medical evidence, so the patient can choose what is right for them.

Everyone has to make health decisions at some point in their life. Using shared decision making can help you ask the right questions, advocate at your doctor appointments, and make informed decisions. People who partner with their doctors tend to be happier with their health care results.
